Specify the finished part geometry

A bending enquiry should show the formed part, not only the flat cutting profile. Mark bend angles, flange lengths, inside bend radii and the dimensions that control how the part fits its assembly. Include the material grade, thickness, quantity and drawing revision.

If you already have a flat pattern, send it with the finished drawing. Bend allowances, tooling access and the proposed bend sequence need review before production. Identify any surface, grain direction or appearance requirement that matters to the application.

Review bending with cutting and assembly

Parts with nearby holes, short flanges, several bends or interacting faces need their geometry checked together. Share critical dimensions and mating-part details, including welds or fasteners, so the manufacturing scope can be agreed.

When you need a complete part, include laser cutting, assembly and fabrication, and any powder coating as separate requirements. The quotation confirms the included stages and required approvals.

Samples and repeat batches

State whether the enquiry is for an initial sample, a prototype assembly or a repeat batch. Send the approved drawing revision and any inspection criteria for repeat work. Machine capacity, achievable geometry and tolerances must be confirmed against the specific drawing.
